I left school before Year 12, but I’m still coming to Schoolies on the Gold Coast. Can I get an official Schoolies Hub wristband?

    No.

If you left school prior to completing Year 12, the ONLY way you can access an official Schoolies Hub wristband is if you are still studying. For example, you must still be participating in other Australian education pathways e.g. TAFE or a registered apprentice AND you must be able to prove that you would have graduated Year 12 this year.

You will need to provide a letter signed by your Australian Registered Training Organisation (on company letterhead) stating that you are registered as an apprentice or attending TAFE.

You will also need your most recent student ID. If you no longer have your ID, you will need a letter from either your previous high school or current Australian Registered Training Organisation confirming, if you had continued your high school education, you would have graduated Year 12 in 2022.

These items must be brought with you to the Wristband Centre along with your current photo ID.

I am home-schooled and don’t have a current Year 12 school ID. How can I get a Schoolies Hub wristband?

If you are home-schooled, you must provide a letter either from your state’s Department of Education and Training (on Government letterhead) or from your Home-schooling network that states you are a current Year 12 school leaver. This letter and an official photographic ID (e.g. drivers licence or passport) must be brought with you to the Wristband Centre.

Wristbands that have been damaged or tampered with are void. Security will be checking.
