Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays is one of the world’s best holiday destinations.

The Whitsunday Regional Council, with the support of the Queensland Government and numerous volunteer and community organisations, activate the Safer Schoolies Airlie Beach Response to enhance the safety of schoolies staying in Airlie Beach. In 2020, the Response will be activated from Saturday 21 – Friday 27 November and is for genuine 2020 Year 12 school leavers.

The Safer Schoolies Airlie Beach Response provides you with a range of support services to help keep you safe, and it also includes official Schoolies wristbands allowing you nightly access to Schoolies Central where you can celebrate with your mates.

  • Official Schoolies Wristbands and ID

    If you are a Year 12 school leaver heading to Airlie Beach, you will need an official Schoolies wristband to access Schoolies Central dance parties, discounts, themed nights and more.

  • Schoolies Central

    The Safer Schoolies Airlie Beach Response includes Schoolies Central which is a fenced, alcohol and drug-free entertainment precinct for genuine Year 12 school leavers only. Schoolies Central is where you can also collect your official Schoolies wristband, locate the information and tour desks.
