Schoolies celebrations in Airlie Beach
Safer Schoolies is supported by local community organisations and emergency services to provide on ground support to keep young people and the community safe.
Safer Schoolies provides a FREE Schoolies shuttle bus service to schoolies requiring transport to their accommodation. The shuttle bus services hotels and accommodation providers in the Airlie Beach and Cannonvale area. More information on the service will be provided closer to the 2023 response.
Important information for young people planning to celebrate Schoolies
It is important to remember that there is no ‘organiser’ of Schoolies and no ‘Schoolies Festival’. ‘Schoolies’ occurs whenever and wherever groups of young people choose to gather to celebrate the end of their schooling.
In regard to entertainment, please refer any enquiries to your booking agent or entertainment provider.
Regardless of where or how you choose to celebrate Schoolies, always research where you are going to see if there are any support services in the area.
Safe Night Precinct support services are available in 15 locations across Queensland. These services assist vulnerable people and those at risk of harm due to the influence of alcohol.
Information about Safe Night Precincts can be found on the Safe Nights Precinct Support Services webpage.
