Gold Coast

The Gold Coast has been the popular choice for many Queensland schoolies since the 1970s.

Every year the Safer Schoolies Gold Coast Response is activated to enhance the safety of schoolies staying and partying in Surfers Paradise. In 2019, the Response will be activated from Saturday 16 – Friday 22 November.

The Response provides you with a range of support services to help keep you safe, and also includes official Safer Schoolies wristbanding allowing you FREE nightly access to the Schoolies Hub where you can celebrate with your mates.
