Safer Schoolies Beach Party

Looking for the best place to party at Schoolies? Well make sure you head down to the Safer Schoolies Beach Party right on Surfers Paradise beach.

The Beach Party is a fenced, alcohol and drug-free entertainment precinct on the beach. With two stages providing nightly entertainment and a Chill Out Night on Tuesday 19 November.

The best part of all is that it’s FREE to attend – you just need your official Safer Schoolies wristband to gain entry.

Oh, and the Beach Party is only for genuine Year 12 school leavers – no toolies, droolies or moolies allowed.

When?

  • Saturday 16 – Friday 22 November 2019
  • Nightly 7pm – midnight

Where?

The Safer Schoolies Beach Party is located on Surfers Paradise beach – right at the end of Cavill Mall.

How can I get in to the Beach Party?

Entry is FREE. You just need your official Safer Schoolies wristband to gain entry as Beach Party is for genuine Year 12 school leavers only.

What’s happening at the Beach Party?

Every night (Saturday 16 – Friday 22 November), from 7pm through to midnight, we’ll be featuring different DJ’s across two stages.

On Tuesday 19 November, we switch gears with Chill Out Night.  Closer to Schoolies, we will release the full schedule so follow our socials for what we’ve got planned.

Conditions of entry to the Beach Party

When it comes to the Beach Party, everyone has the right to feel safe and have a good time. Do your bit by following the below conditions of entry:

  • entry restricted to genuine Year 12 school leavers only
  • you must have an official Safer Schoolies wristband to gain access
  • no bags are allowed inside the Beach Party*
  • smoking is not permitted, including the use of electronic cigarettes or similar devices
  • groping without consent is assault
  • moshing, circle pits, sitting on shoulders and crowd surfing are not allowed
  • aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

*Clear plastic pouches will be available at the Wristband Centre – grab one when you get your official 2019 Safer Schoolies wristband. These can be worn in to the Beach Party. As there are no cloak room facilities available, we strongly suggest you leave bags and valuables at your accommodation, in your car or at home.

Accessibility and the Beach Party

All graduating Year 12 students are free to celebrate the end of their schooling in a safe and happy environment. We welcome schoolies requiring different accessibility needs to the Safer Schoolies Beach Party. We have designated areas inside the Beach Party that provide a comfortable area for schoolies to celebrate with their peers.

Parking options are available close to the Safer Schoolies Beach Party entry for eligible patrons.
