Terms and conditions
To enter the Schoolies Hub and Wristband Centre, attendees must abide by the conditions of entry to each of these venues and the bag policy.
Schoolies Hub
Terms and conditions of entry
To enter the Schoolies Hub venue (Hub) you must be:
- a Year 12 school graduate
- wearing your official Safer Schoolies wristband
- demonstrating acceptable behaviour
- willing to undergo reasonable security checks of personal items at any time
- entry will be denied if your Schoolies wristband has been tampered with.
You can't bring the following items into the Hub:
- large bags (see Safer Schoolies bag policy)
- cigarettes, electronic cigarettes or similar devices, vapes
- alcohol
- illegal substances (controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia)
- items that could cause harm or public nuisance (firearms, knives, flares, fireworks, smoke bombs, explosives, or chemical substances)
- glass (including bottles), cans or drink containers
- laser lights
- aerosol cans, air horns, nangs or bulbs
- inflatable products or projectiles
- bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades/skates
- any other item that could cause harm or public nuisance.
The following unacceptable behaviour won't be tolerated within the Hub and may result in you being asked to leave:
- non-consensual sexualised behaviour
- aggressive behaviour including offensive, disorderly or unlawful behaviour
- moshing, circle pits and crowd surfing
- entering a restricted internal area without consent
- failure to comply with these conditions of entry or a reasonable instruction from a security guard or police officer.
Call it out!
If you witness any of your peers not abiding by these conditions, please notify your nearest security guard, police officer or volunteer.
Wristband Centre
Terms and conditions of entry
To enter the Wristband Centre you must be:
- a Year 12 school graduate
- demonstrating acceptable behaviour
- willing to undergo reasonable security checks of personal items at any time.
You can't bring the following items into the Wristband Centre:
- large bags (see Safer Schoolies bag policy)
- cigarettes, electronic cigarettes or similar devices, vapes
- alcohol
- illegal substances (controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia)
- items that could cause harm or public nuisance (firearms, knives, flares, fireworks, smoke bombs, explosives, or chemical substances)
- glass (including bottles), cans or drink containers
- laser lights
- aerosol cans, air horns, nangs or bulbs
- inflatable products or projectiles
- bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades/skates
- any other item that could cause harm or public nuisance.

Safer Schoolies bag policy
To ensure safety, security and smooth operational delivery of the Schoolies Hub (Hub) and Wristband Centre the following bag policy will apply to these venues. All attendees will be required to comply with this policy when entering the designated venues.
Bag free express lanes
For the fastest and smoothest entry process, attendees are encouraged to avoid bringing bags into the venues. Express entry lanes will be available for those without bags.
Permitted bags inside the Schoolies Hub and Wristband Centre venues
The following types of bags are allowed into the venues:
- Small Bags: Bags no larger than 30cm (length) x 20cm (width) x 10cm (deep) (e.g., small handbags, clutches, or small purses).
- Clear Bags: Transparent bags made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC that do not exceed 30cm x 30cm x 15cm.
- Medical Bags: Bags containing essential medical items E.g. EpiPen bag (subject to inspection).
Prohibited bags
The following types of bags are not permitted in the Schoolies Hub or Wristband Centre venues:
- Backpacks of any size.
- Large bags, duffel bags, or suitcases.
- Bags with hard sides or metal frames.
- Bags with excessive compartments or hidden pockets.
- Any bag exceeding the permitted size limit. 30cm (length) x 20cm (width) x 10cm (deep)
Bag inspection
- All bags and bag contents will be inspected by security staff upon entry to the venues.
- Security staff reserve the right to refuse entry to any bag that does not comply with this policy or is deemed a security risk.
Prohibited items
The following items are strictly prohibited inside all bags:
- Alcohol, illegal substances, or drug paraphernalia.
- Weapons, sharp objects, or items that could be used as weapons.
- Glass containers or bottles.
- Aerosol cans, including deodorants or sprays.
- Flammable liquids or fireworks.
- Outside food and beverages (unless medically required).
- Large umbrellas or other bulky items.
- Any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by security staff.
Baggage service
- A baggage service will be available near the entrance for attendees to store prohibited bags or items. This service will be free and when the maximum number of bags is reached, attendees required to check bags will need to store them elsewhere.
- The event organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in the baggage service area.
Bags left in baggage service
When baggage service closes and bags that have been checked are not collected, they will be considered lost property and will be taken to the police station.
